• Develop, oversee, and implement data movement, integration, and transformations using DataStage
• Manage the technical architecture of DataStage
• Develop custom DataStage transformations, ensuring compliance with standards and architectures
• Build and maintain DataStage components, resolving problems, and documenting code
• Working experience on DB2, Netezza are added advantage
• Work closely with client to get the requirement and manage offshore to ensure proper communication and deliverables are achieved
• Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL processes using IBM DataStage.
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and error-handling mechanisms.
• Optimize DataStage jobs for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and integrate systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL-related issues, including root cause analysis.
• Maintain documentation for ETL processes, data models, and workflows.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
