IT Support Analyst / Packaging Analyst Your role Do you know how to work effectively with developers, business aligned customers, engineering teams and software vendors to deliver packaged application solutions? Are you motivated to continuously make service improvements? Are you an expert when it comes to tools like Adminstudio/ Installshield / Appv 5.1, Numecent? Do you have proven ability to solve complex issues, covering both technical and business needs? We're looking for a IT support analyst having experience in MSI and Appv Packaging: • Creation of MSI packages using Adminstudio/ Installshield • Hands-on experience in creating packages using AppV 5.0/AppV 5.1/Numecent • Experience in creating Connection groups and Runvirtual keys • Experience towards Scripting – VB script / PowerShell scripting • Knowledge of Operating Systems – Win 10, Win11, Server platforms • Support the Service & Product Manager across several technical domains • contribute expertise to the management of existing and new IT products and services • Define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements • Troubleshooting Skills and maintain a knowledge database We're looking for someone like you who can help us • Effectively deliver quality application packaging solutions to our global line of business clients. • Operate our service against a defined set of SLA's • Be part of the team delivering daily business, project or migration services. • Troubleshoot issues quickly and present technical solutions • Be the subject matter experts for Banking packaging technologies and toolsets Your team You'll be working in Application Services team in Mumbai. Our team is responsible delivering end user business applications globally to our Microsoft Desktops, Workspace and servers estates. Our packaging and verification team are responsible for ensuring that software is released in line with Banking standards and to a high quality ensuring operational stability. Overall the wider Apps Teams are responsible for planning, packaging and verification, testing and deployment phases of line of business software releases globally. Your expertise • Proven experience within the field of application packaging in a global enterprise environment. 4- 6 years of hands-on experience within the field of application packaging in a global enterprise environment. • proficiency in interpreting non-technical business requirements into technical specifications, able to work with business requesters, developers or 3rd party vendors to get to end solutions • proficient with scripting languages including Powershell and VbScript • good knowledge and experience with packaging and personalization technologies such as Installshield Adminstudio, MSI, App-v, Appsense, VMware UEM. Experience with Numecent will be an added advantage. • ability to solve complex issues, good at problem statement analysis and solution design thinking • ability to deliver under pressure whilst maintaining quality, skilled in technical troubleshooting over a range of disciplines • drive service improvements and automation of the packaging process • an excellent communicator, with good interpersonal skills You are: • analytical, logical, assertive and result-oriented • an excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills, fluent in English • Methodical, concise and accurate, with strong attention to detail.
