Job Description:

Consultant will join an experienced, business-facing team and work in a collaborative, and results-oriented environment.

We are seeking a well experienced and detail-oriented Apptio Developer to perform the development of Apptio implementations and configurations.

Nice to have skills (Top 2 only)

Proficiency in software development, Apptio Developer, especially SQL. R skills a plus.

Detailed Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize Apptio modules (Cost Transparency, Cloud Financial Management, Business Planning).
• Develop cost models, dashboards, and workflows within Apptio.
• Integrate Apptio with ERP, CRM, and other financial systems using APIs and data connectors.
• Build and maintain financial reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to teams on Apptio best practices.
• Ensure application security, performance, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve Apptio-related issues.
• Work with Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or related field.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in Apptio development and support.

Strong knowledge of TBM framework and financial management processes (budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Apptio configuration and customization.

Experience with Apptio APIs, SQL, and data analysis.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration patterns.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with financial systems (SAP, Oracle).

Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Top 3 responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute*:

• Design, develop, modify and support Planisware based applications.
• Work collaboratively with offshore/onshore based development team
• Leverage best practices, disciplined approaches, and standards to solving technical problems.
