Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain enterprise network infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and data center networks.
Configure, manage, and support routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for network incidents and implement preventive measures.
Monitor network performance and optimize bandwidth utilization.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and deployments.
Manage network changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities following change management processes.
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
Participate in on-call support and provide timely resolution of critical network issues.
Required Skills
8+ years of experience in Network Operations or Network Engineering.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, STP, and VPN technologies.
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or similar networking equipment.
Experience with firewalls such as Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet, or Check Point.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix, or similar.
Experience with incident management and ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
Good understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
