Senior OutSystems Developer

About The Job:

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior OutSystems Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise-grade web and mobile applications using the OutSystems platform.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in OutSystems Reactive and Traditional Web Development, application integration, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and Agile delivery methodologies.
• The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and support teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.

Essential Job Functions:
Application Development

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using OutSystems 11 and ODC (OutSystems Developer Cloud).
• Build and maintain Reactive Web, Traditional Web, and Mobile Applications.
• Develop reusable components, modules, and integrations.
• Ensure adherence to OutSystems best practices and architecture guidelines.

Requirements Analysis

• Participate in business requirement gathering and solution design discussions.
• Perform impact analysis for enhancements and change requests.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Support & Maintenance

• Analyze and resolve production incidents, defects, and application issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
• Provide application support and continuous improvement initiatives.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing.
• Ensure code quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with QA teams during UAT and production deployments.

Deployment & Release Management

• Manage code promotion across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
• Support CI/CD implementation and release activities.
• Monitor application health and optimize performance.

Team Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business users, architects, and clients.
• Mentor junior developers and review code quality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
