About The Job:
- This is a Cybersecurity / Security Operations Engineer (Security Analyst / SecOps Engineer with automation focus) role.
- In simple terms, the person is responsible for protecting company systems from cyber threats and automating security work.
Security monitoring & incident handling
- Monitor security alerts (like suspicious logins, attacks, malware activity)
- Investigate cyber incidents (what happened, how it happened, impact)
- Do root cause analysis
- Hunt for hidden threats in logs (“threat hunting”)
- Coordinate fixing of vulnerabilities with DevOps / infra teams
- Run vulnerability assessments and ensure patching
- Build automation scripts using Python / Bash / Ansible / Terraform
- Automate repetitive SOC/Security Ops tasks
- Create workflows/agents (even using GenAI tools) to speed up security operations
- Improve detection and response processes
Key skills they expect
- Strong scripting: Python (mandatory), Bash, Ansible, Terraform
- Cloud security basics: AWS / Azure
- Linux administration
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (threats, vulnerabilities, SOC concepts)
- Experience with security tools (SIEM, monitoring tools, alert systems)
- Knowledge of compliance/security frameworks (like ISO, SOC2, etc.)
- Good communication (since coordination with multiple teams is needed)
- BE / BTech / MCA
- Around 3–5 years experience (typical)
- Hands-on security operations + automation background preferred
- A hands-on cyber security engineer who investigates attacks + builds automation to improve security operations in cloud environments.
- This is a hands-on Cloud Security + Automation (DevSecOps/SecOps) role.
- Secure cloud + Linux (Debian) environments
- Investigate security incidents and vulnerabilities
- Automate security operations using Python, Ansible, Terraform
- Analyze logs and do root cause analysis
- Work closely with DevOps teams to fix and prevent issues
