BACKEND ENGINEER
Location: Hyderabad (Prorsum Technologies – Work Location)

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to build secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems for fintech platforms and financial applications. The role involves designing microservices, managing databases, and ensuring system security, compliance, and scalability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for fintech applications
• Build RESTful APIs and gRPC microservices for scalable architectures
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms
• Work with PostgreSQL/MySQL including indexing, optimization, and data modeling
• Develop event-driven systems using Kafka/RabbitMQ
• Ensure compliance with PCI, KYC, and AML standards
• Deploy services using AWS/GCP/Azure with CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with frontend and ML teams for seamless integration
• Monitor performance, debug issues, and optimize backend systems
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 2–4 years of experience in Backend Development (Python / Node.js / Java)
• Strong experience in REST APIs and Microservices architecture
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL databases
• Understanding of JWT, OAuth2, and API security
• Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ and event-driven systems
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud experience with AWS/GCP/Azure
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in FinTech or Banking domain
• Knowledge of scalable distributed systems and secure architectures
• Understanding of compliance-driven systems
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
'14; 5 days onsite working
