As a Software Engineering Architect at Kyndryl, you will be responsible for leading the charge in creating technical blueprints, defining product/solution architecture, and developing the technical specifications for our projects. You'll be a key player in integrating the features of our software applications into a cohesive and functioning system.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign end-to-end application architecture using Java and microservices principles\n\nDefine system components, integration patterns, and data flow across services\n\nCreate high-level (HLD) and low-level designs (LLD)\n\nEnsure architecture meets scalability, performance, and security requirements\n\nDefine standards for Spring Boot-based microservices\n\nGuide teams in building RESTful APIs and event-driven systems\n\nEnsure best practices in API design, service discovery, and fault tolerance\n\nReview code and design for quality and maintainability\n\nDesign relational and/or NoSQL databases for high-volume transactions\n\nDefine data models, schema design, indexing, and partitioning strategies\n\nEnsure data integrity, consistency, and performance optimization\n\nSupport data migration, archival, and reconciliation strategies\n\nDesign integration with core banking and external systems\n\nDefine messaging and event streaming patterns (Kafka, MQ, APIs)\n\nEnsure seamless integration with platforms like Temenos T24\n\nEnsure secure architecture (authentication, authorization, encryption)\n\nAlign with banking regulatory and compliance requirements\n\nImplement secure coding and data protection practices\n\nExperience with Modernization & Migration to Cloud\n\nYour analytical and creative mindset will be put to the test as you anticipate trends, stay up-to-date on leading technology, and participate in Kyndryl's architectural boards.

And finally, you're open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.\nRequired Technical and Professional Expertise\n10 years of experience of relevant work experience in software architecture; out of them 8 -10 Years of Application Enterprise Architect•Strong experience in Java (8+) and Spring Boot•Proven expertise in microservices architecture•Solid experience in database design (Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)\n\nKnowledge of API design, REST, and event-driven architecture\n\nExperience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift)\n\nExperience with Kafka / messaging systems\n\nKnowledge of core banking systems like Temenos T24\n\nAwareness of regulatory compliance (KYC, AML, audit)\n\nExperience with performance tuning and monitoring tools\n\nUnderstanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)\n\nUnderstanding of data security and encryption standards\n\nExperience with Modernization & Migration to Cloud\n\nPreferred Technical and Professional Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience\n\nJava Certification / Azure Cloud Solution Architect Certification - Preferred\n\nExperience with containerization packaging, tooling, and DevOps methodologies\n\nBeing You\nThe "Kyn" in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
