As a Functional Analyst at Kyndryl, you will be supporting and leading the analysis, design, and delivery of banking solutions. The role involves translating business needs into solution specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful implementation aligned with business goals, technology standards, and regulatory requirements\n\nKey Responsibilities\nGather and document business and system requirements under guidance\n\nAssist in capturing solution, performance, and security requirements along with user stories and acceptance criteria\n\nSupport analysis of dependencies and change impact assessments\n\nSupport development of solution documentation and design artifacts\n\nAssist in creating data mappings and data flow documentation\n\nContribute to data modelling activities under supervision\n\nCollaborate with business stakeholders, and act as a bridge between business and technology teams\n\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies (PI planning, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)\n\nSupport translation of business needs into implementation-ready specifications\n\nPrepare and execute test cases and scripts\n\nSupport defect logging, tracking, and resolution\n\nAssist stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing (UAT)\n\nFollow defined architecture and delivery standards\n\nAdhere to regulatory and compliance requirements\n\nSupport IT risk and control processes\n\nSupport process improvements and documentation standards\n\nContinuously learn and enhance domain and functional knowledge\n\nYour contributions will have a significant impact on our products' success, and you will be part of a team that is passionate about innovation, creativity, and excellence. And finally, you're open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.\nRequired Technical and Professional Experience\n8 to 10+ years of experience in banking or BFSI domain\n\nDeep understanding of Payments landscape:\n\nDomestic and cross-border payments (SEPA, SWIFT (SAG/SAA), real-time payments)\n\nPayment processing flows (initiation, clearing, settlement, reconciliation)\n\nStrong expertise in Cards domain:\n\nCard lifecycle (issuance, activation, authorization, clearing, settlement, disputes/chargebacks)\n\nKnowledge of card schemes (Visa, Mastercard) and ecosystem participants\n\nFamiliarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., PSD2, AML, fraud prevention, strong customer authentication), Cyber Fraud and Risk Management\n\nExperience with end-to-end transaction flows and customer journeys across channels (digital, POS, ATM)\n\nExposure to Sirius, SafeWatch, MOSEL, MOSEL Gateways, G4S will be an added advantage\n\nFamiliarity with end-to-end customer journeys and cross-domain dependencies\n\nStrong knowledge of solution design, product lifecycle, and data governance & analysis\n\nDeep understanding of testing, customer experience, incident/problem management, and application support\n\nStrong understanding of payments/cards testing strategies (transaction validation, reconciliation testing, exception handling)\n\nExpertise in requirements analysis, solution specification management, and feasibility assessment\n\nStrong knowledge of banking products and services\n\nStrong leadership and stakeholder management skills\n\nStrategic mindset with strong business awareness\n\nExcellent communication (written and verbal)\n\nHigh level of accountability, integrity, and adaptability\n\nAbility to perform in complex and high-pressure environments\n\nPreferred Technical and Professional Experience\nBachelore's/Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience\n\nPreferred Tools/Platforms: e.g., Jira, Confluence\n\nCertification in Agile SAFe\n\nBeing You\nThe "Kyn" in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
