The role involves tracking breaking business news, market trends, startup developments, corporate stories, and global economic updates to support editorial and digital content teams.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nResearch and track business, finance, economy, startup, technology, and market-related news stories.\nIdentify trending and viral business topics suitable for digital and social media content.\nSupport anchors, producers, and editorial teams with facts, data points, background research, and story briefs.\nMonitor business developments across social media platforms including YouTube, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, and LinkedIn.\nAssist in creating research notes, content summaries, headlines, captions, and discussion pointers for digital shows and videos.\nTrack competitor content trends and audience engagement patterns across platforms.\nEnsure accuracy, speed, and editorial reliability in all research inputs.\n\nRequirements\n3–5 years of experience in news research, business journalism, digital content, or editorial operations.\nStrong understanding of business news, markets, startups, economy, and corporate affairs.\nExcellent English communication and writing skills.\nStrong internet research, analytical, and fact-checking abilities.\nFamiliarity with social media trends and digital news consumption patterns.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced newsroom environment with quick turnaround timelines.\n\nPreferred Background\nCandidates with prior experience in business newsrooms, digital media platforms, financial content teams, or social media news operations will be preferred.
