The role focuses on designing and building scalable, event-driven, and API-led integration solutions using IBM integration technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong development background (not primarily admin), with proven ability to implement API proxies, service routing, transformations, and event-driven patterns.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop enterprise-grade integration solutions using: IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM API Connect Apache Kafka, IBM Transformation Extender (ITX),Implement API-led and event-driven architecturesCreate HLD/LLD designs for integration solutions\n\nACE Development: Message flows, sub flows, ESQL and Java Compute nodes\n\nImplement: Data transformation, routing, enrichment, Integration with backend systems (REST/SOAP/MQ/Kafka)\n\nOptimize for performance and scalability\n\nDesign and implementation proxies / Service proxies / API routing layers\n\nUse IBM API Connect to: Develop APIs and proxy layers, Implement routing, versioning, mediation logic\n\nApply: Request/response transformation, Traffic policies (throttling, rate limiting)\n\nDevelop Kafka-based integrations: Producers and consumers, Event streaming pipelines.\n\nImplement real-time data integration patterns\n\nIntegrate Kafka with ACE and API layers\n\nDevelop transformation maps using IBM ITX\n\nHandle: Complex data formats, High-volume transformations\n\nIntegrate ITX with ACE and APIs\n\nImplement: Reusable integration components, Error handling and logging frameworks, Security patterns (OAuth, JWT, TLS)\n\nEnsure adherence to: Coding standards, Performance benchmarks, Integration governance practices\n\nStakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Enterprise architects, Application teams, Infrastructure and DevOps teams, Provide technical guidance and mentorship and Participate in solutioning, estimations, and client discussions\n\nYour contributions will have a significant impact on our products' success, and you will be part of a team that is passionate about innovation, creativity, and excellence.

And finally, you're open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.\n\nRequired Technical and Professional Experience\n5 to 7+ years of database developer experience in banking or BFSI domain\n\nRequired Skills on Core Technologies\n\nStrong hands-on development experience in: IBM ACE (App Connect Enterprise), IBM API Connect, Apache Kafka, IBM Transformation Extender (ITX)\n\nExpertise in: API Proxy / Service Proxy / API Routing patterns REST/SOAP API development, Microservices & API-led architecture\n\nStrong knowledge of: JSON, XML, XSD\n\nStrong coding skills in: ESQL, Java (for integration logic)\n\nExperience in building: Scalable and reusable integration components\n\nUnderstanding of: Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP)Event-driven systems, Distributed architectures.\n\nExposure to: Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) CI/CD (Jenkins, Git), Cloud (AWS / Azure / IBM Cloud)\n\nStrong development mindset with problem-solving ability\n\nAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutions\n\nEffective communication and stakeholder interaction\n\nCapability to mentor and guide development teams\n\nProactive and ownership-driven approach\n\nPreferred Technical and Professional Experience\nBachelore's/Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience\n\nCertifications in IBM ACE / API Connect / Integration\n\nExperience in enterprise-scale transformation programs\n\nExposure to regulated domains especially in Banking domain is preferred\n\nBeing You\nThe "Kyn" in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
