Role Overview\nWe are looking for a Business Manager – Customs Clearance, Port Logistics & Import Operations, India to support SolutionMall’s product arrival, customs clearance, port logistics, local delivery coordination, and import-related business operations in India.\nThis role is suitable for professionals with experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, import/export operations, customs clearance, port operations, warehouse coordination, inland transportation, product compliance documentation, or cross-border trade operations.\nThe role focuses on supporting products after international shipment arrival at major Indian ports and customs locations, coordinating import and customs processes, assisting local logistics and warehouse arrangements, supporting import documentation, and helping SolutionMall improve delivery efficiency for project-based orders in India.\nThis is not a simple administrative logistics role. It is a business coordination role involving freight forwarders, customs brokers, port agents, transport companies, suppliers, customers, warehouses, and project delivery stakeholders.\nThe ideal candidate should be able to support:\nProduct arrival coordination\nIndian port logistics follow-up\nCustoms clearance support\nImport/export documentation\nLocal warehouse and delivery coordination\nInland transportation coordination\nProduct compliance documentation support\nLogistics cost and timeline feedback\nBusiness and project delivery support\n3. Key Responsibilities\nProduct Arrival and Port Coordination\nSupport product arrival coordination at major Indian ports and customs locations, including:\nMumbai / Nhava Sheva / JNPT\nMundra Port\nChennai Port\nKolkata Port\nCochin Port\nVisakhapatnam Port\nOther relevant seaports, airports, ICDs, and inland logistics hubs in India\nCoordinate shipment arrival follow-up, port agent communication, freight forwarder communication, customs broker communication, delivery schedule coordination, local receiving, and abnormal shipment follow-up.\nWork with SolutionMall teams, suppliers, logistics partners, customs agents, and customers to ensure imported products can move smoothly through arrival, clearance, inland transportation, and final delivery stages.\nInternational Logistics and Local Delivery Coordination\nSupport international logistics and India local delivery coordination, including:\nSea freight, air freight, and express shipment follow-up\nPort-to-warehouse logistics coordination\nInland transportation and local delivery support\nWarehouse, storage, and distribution coordination\nLast-mile delivery support for project orders\nLogistics cost and delivery timeline feedback\nCoordination with freight forwarders and local transport partners\nHelp SolutionMall build reliable logistics workflows for project-based product delivery in India.\nCustoms Clearance and Documentation Support\nSupport customs clearance and import/export documentation, including:\nCommercial invoices\nPacking lists\nBills of lading or air waybills\nCertificates of origin\nHS code checking support\nCustoms declaration coordination\nImport permit or approval support where applicable\nCustoms duty, GST, and clearance cost feedback\nAbnormal clearance issue follow-up\nCoordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, suppliers, customers, and internal teams to reduce clearance risks and improve delivery predictability.\nCompliance and Import Documentation Support\nSupport product compliance and import documentation coordination for imported products, including:\nProduct certification requirements\nLocal import compliance documentation\nTechnical document collection\nTest reports, certificates, and product files\nLabeling or document requirements\nCoordination with local consultants or service providers where needed\nFeedback on import risks for specific product categories\nHelp SolutionMall understand import, documentation, and clearance requirements for different product categories before and during project delivery.\nBusiness and Project Delivery Support\nSupport project delivery coordination from the logistics, customs, and documentation side.\nCollect and share feedback on:\nDelivery timelines\nLocal logistics costs\nCustoms clearance risks\nCommon document issues\nProduct category restrictions\nPort and warehouse conditions\nInland transportation challenges\nCustomer delivery expectations\nHelp SolutionMall improve its India delivery capability, reduce logistics risks, and support long-term project delivery efficiency.\n4.

Qualifications\nRequired\n3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:\nInternational logistics\nFreight forwarding\nImport/export operations\nCustoms clearance coordination\nIndia port logistics\nProduct arrival and delivery coordination\nWarehouse and distribution coordination\nInland transportation coordination\nProduct compliance documentation\nCross-border trade operations\nProject delivery or supply chain coordination\nFamiliar with import/export documentation, shipment follow-up, customs clearance workflows, freight forwarder coordination, customs broker communication, and logistics problem solving.\nGood communication skills and ability to coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, port agents, suppliers, customers, warehouses, transport companies, and internal teams.\nWorking proficiency in English.\nPreferred\nExisting logistics, customs clearance, freight forwarding, port agent, or warehouse resources in India\nExperience with major Indian ports such as Nhava Sheva / JNPT, Mundra, Chennai, Kolkata, Cochin, or Visakhapatnam\nExperience with ICDs, inland logistics hubs, bonded warehouses, or local distribution networks in India\nFamiliarity with product compliance, import documentation, labeling, or approval requirements\nExperience in B2B project delivery, industrial products, commercial equipment, electrical products, medical products, IT/IoT products, or engineering equipment logistics\nHindi or local Indian language communication ability is preferred\n5.
