Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis Position reports to:\nSales Director – North & South India\nYour role and responsibilities:\n\nIn this role, you will be responsible for increasing sales of B&R’s next generation technology, machine connectivity, automation & edge, high end motion system & technology software solutions in the southern region/market. The role demands a mix of sales acumen, technical understanding, and customer engagement.\n\nThe work model for the role is: #LI_Onsite\n\nThis role is contributing to the Automation Division-B&R in Faridabad, India.\n\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nMeeting customers and partners regularly to generate enquiries and build a solid pipeline in machine automation solutions across the north region/market.\n\nAnalyzing customer requirements and market trends to create and present techno-commercial offers for motion systems, robotics, drives, connectivity, and software solutions. •\n\nHandling negotiations, closing deals, and managing key accounts to ensure long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.\n\nCoordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and seamless customer engagement.\n\nActing as a brand ambassador and consultant to promote advanced automation, advanced technologies, and future-ready solutions.\n\nParticipating in exhibitions, seminars, and product demos to showcase knowledge in industrial automation and increase brand visibility.\n\nCreating accurate forecasts using CRM tools to enable data-driven decision-making, business growth, and after-sales engagement.\n\nQualifications for the role:\n3–8 years of sales experience in the automation industry (machine automation, motion/controls, robotics, drives, motors).\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electricals, EEC, Instrumentation, or similar disciplines).\n\nDemonstrated experience in industrial automation with practical application development experience.\n\nSolid background in solution selling and managing complex technical sales cycles, with preference for multinational company exposure.\n\nEffective communication and negotiation skills — both verbal and written — to engage diverse stakeholders.\n\nHigh professionalism and integrity in customer interactions, with a consultative approach to building long-term partnerships.\n\nFluency in English and with knowledge of at least one regional language preferred.\n\nMore about us:\n\nB&R Industrial Automation is a manufacturer of automation technology and ABB's global center for machine and factory automation.
