Finance Accounting Manager

Manager – Finance & Accounting Location: Gurugram | Experience: 7–10 Years | Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

About the Role

We're looking for a Chartered Accountant who can own the financial accounting, reporting, compliance, and controllership agenda for a global, manufacturing-led business. This is a high-visibility role for someone who combines deep technical accounting expertise with the judgment to advise stakeholders and the drive to push finance transformation forward.

You'll lead the close, set the standard for governance and reporting accuracy, and partner with global and regional teams to keep the business well-informed and audit-ready.

What You'll Do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, delivering accurate results within reporting timelines
• Own financial accounting, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet reviews
• Drive financial reporting, consolidation, and management reporting
• Lead accounting for complex financial instruments, including hedge accounting, in line with IFRS and group policy
• Provide technical accounting guidance across IND AS, IFRS, and treasury transactions, including derivatives and hedging
• Run detailed P&L and variance analysis to support business decisions
• Ensure timely balance sheet reconciliations and clean resolution of ageing/open items
• Lead statutory audits, group audits, and external auditor relationships
• Monitor internal controls and ensure adherence to governance and compliance requirements
• Support treasury operations, cash flow reporting, working capital, and liquidity management
• Partner with global and regional stakeholders on reporting and operational needs
• Drive finance transformation, process standardization, and automation
• Lead, coach, and develop the finance team

What You'll Bring

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 7–10 years of relevant experience
• Prior experience with a Big 4 firm (mandatory)
• Experience in a manufacturing organization (mandatory)
• Strong technical command of IND AS and IFRS
• Hands-on with IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 9, IAS 2, and hedge accounting
• Proven depth in financial accounting, controllership, reporting, and audits
• Hands-on experience with SAP and enterprise reporting systems
• Exposure to a global or shared services environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed global setup
