About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Delivery leader to lead our BFS (Banking, Financial Services) client projects, specifically focusing on Banking, Payments and Card services. The ideal candidate will have proven track record of managing large teams and delivering complex projects/programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

• Lead and manage a team of 1500+ professionals, including developers, testers, and project managers.
• Manage a portfolio of 80+MN
• Drive Gen AI adoption at scale and deliver productivity benefits
• Drive strategic conversation with client on cloud adoption, delivery model transformation
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
• Mentor and develop team members, ensuring continuous improvement and career growth.

Project Delivery:

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Delivery Management - Owning the success of the Delivery organization - Own End to End Delivery of all Programs by various governance Mechanisms, enabling the Delivery Managers and Team and key customer connects on regular intervals.
• Responsible for P&L of a portfolio around $80 million. Focal point of contact for key customers in the portfolio. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology programs aligned to strategic business goals.
• Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in project delivery.

Client Management:

• Act as the primary point of contact for BFSI clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Understand client requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
• Provide regular updates to clients on project status, risks, and issues.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong background in Cards & Payments is preferred.
• Utilize your extensive knowledge of Java and Testing to guide technical teams and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and incorporate them into project strategies.

Strategic Planning:

• Contribute to the strategic planning and growth of the account & BFSI vertical.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Own the growth of the portfolio and be responsible for hiring and offboarding decisions Be the catalyst for portfolio growth by actively working with sales and horizontals (technology streams) owners, participating and engaging in RFP response, Due Diligence and Proposal making. Facilitate communication upward and across project teams

Solution/Proposal Strategy:

• Work closely with Sales leadership throughout the deal lifecycle for Delivery led growth.
• Collaborate and manage stakeholders from technology practices, Delivery, Verticals and other Enabling Functions to develop the integrated solution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 20+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on BFSI clients.
• Extensive experience in Banking, Payments and Card services.
• Strong technical background in Java and Testing.
