Senior Informix Engineer

Join us and experience a flexible, supportive environment where your well-being is prioritized and your potential can thrive.\n\nThe Role\nThis role involves ensuring high availability, performance tuning, data integrity, backup and recovery, and supporting development and operational teams with database solutions.\nAdminister and support IBM Informix databases across development, testing, and production environments.\nInstall, configure, and upgrade Informix database server software.\nMonitor database performance, perform tuning, and ensure optimal efficiency and uptime.\nManage database backup and recovery strategies, including DR planning and testing.\nMaintenance & Enhancement: Troubleshoot, debug, and modify existing Informix 4GL application code, forms, and reports to meet evolving business needs.\nDatabase Programming: Write, optimize, and tune complex SQL statements, stored procedures, and triggers for the IBM Informix Dynamic Server (IDS) database.\nTroubleshoot and resolve database issues, working with application developers and system administrators.\n\nWho You Are\nYou're good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. And finally, you're open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.\n\nRequired Technical and Professional Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.\n8+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Informix database administration.\nStrong proficiency with SQL and Informix tools (dbaccess, onstat, oncheck, etc.).\nSolid understanding of database architecture, replication, and disaster recovery.\nInformix 4GL: Proficiency in the Informix 4GL programming language\nSQL Mastery: Excellent skills in writing, optimizing, and debugging complex SQL and PL/SQL (or similar procedural SQL) within the Informix environment.\n\nBeing You\nThe "Kyn" in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
