You'll be the architect of the system, shaping the base definition, structure, and documentation to ensure the long-term success of our business operations.\n\nSpecific to the non-production environment, provides application development support for database management, logical database design, utilities for access control ,database reorganization, data integrity, data recovery, image copies and optimization.\nProvides support for the definition, creation, and support of the data residing in the database management system, including the data schemas at the application level and data dictionary which includes data definitions, other meta data and support of the data environment.\nInstalls and maintains the DBMS software, including related tools and parameters .\nCreates and implements backup and recovery solution, monitoring and testing to ensure compliance with requirements.\nMonitor database performance and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.\nEnsure integrity, availability and performance of DB2 zOS systems by providing technical support and maintenance.\nPerform database enhancement and modification as per the requirements!\nAssist in resource planning, space management and data maintenance activities for database system.\nIdentify and recommend database techniques to support business needs.\nAssume personal responsibility for resolving problems in most effective way possible within SLA reaching root cause and preventing problems\nYou'll be a strategic partner, working closely with various teams to coordinate systematic database project plans that align with our organizational goals.
