Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida for a Cambridge Science Teacher specializing in Physics or Chemistry. The educator will plan and deliver engaging Cambridge curriculum lessons in Science, with a strong focus on either Physics or Chemistry, ensuring clear learning objectives and measurable outcomes. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, instructional materials, and practical activities; conducting laboratory work safely; assessing student progress through assignments, tests, and projects; and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will maintain accurate records, participate in staff meetings, parent interactions, and school events, and contribute to curriculum development and exam preparation. The role also involves supporting co-curricular initiatives, mentoring learners, and fostering an inclusive, inquiry-based classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and scientific curiosity.
Qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge and teaching experience in Science Education with specialization in Physics or Chemistry.
- Background in Physics and Mathematics sufficient to teach integrated science concepts at Cambridge levels.
- Qualified Teacher status or equivalent, with formal training in education and familiarity with Cambridge or similar international curricula.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning, classroom management, and the use of varied pedagogical strategies, including practical and inquiry-based learning.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Experience using educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, learners, and families in a diverse school community.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field; Cambridge teaching experience is an advantage.
