1. Production Drawings Creation:

  • Develop detailed production drawings for furniture items based on initial designs and specifications.

2. Cutting List Preparation:

  • Generate comprehensive cutting lists that outline the materials needed for production, including dimensions and quantities.

  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure materials listed are available and suitable for the intended designs.

3. Optimization of Material Usage:

  • Utilize software tools (e.g., panel optimization software) to create optimized cutting plans that minimize waste and maximize material efficiency.

  • Continuously analyze and improve cutting plans based on production feedback and material availability.

4. Collaboration with Design and Production Teams:

  • Work closely with furniture designers and engineers to ensure the feasibility of designs from a production standpoint.

  • Communicate effectively with the production team to convey any changes or requirements for the manufacturing process.

5. Quality Assurance:

  • Review production drawings and cutting lists for accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Conduct periodic audits of production processes to ensure adherence to design specifications and optimize production techniques.

6. Software Proficiency:

  • Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to create and modify production drawings.

  • Stay updated with the latest software tools for cutting list generation and optimization.

7. Documentation and Reporting:
