Equity Research Analyst

We at Neo Wealth Management are looking for an experienced Equity Research Analyst to join our Wealth Equities team. The role requires a sector-agnostic approach with a strong focus on Mid & Small Caps, responsible for generating high-conviction investment ideas and supporting portfolio strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct deep fundamental research across sectors and identify alpha-generating opportunities

• Build and maintain financial models and valuation frameworks (DCF, EV/EBITDA, Relative Valuation, P/B, etc.)

• Prepare initiation reports, sector updates, earnings notes, and investment recommendations

• Track macro, sector, regulatory, and company-specific developments

• Engage with management teams, attend earnings calls, and conduct primary research

• Present investment ideas to the Investment Committee and Wealth Advisory teams

• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers on portfolio construction and monitoring

• Mentor junior analysts and maintain a robust pipeline of investment opportunities

• Support portfolio reviews and client-facing investment presentations

Candidate Profile:

• ~3-5 years of buy-side or sell-side equity research experience

• Strong expertise in Mid & Small Cap investing

• Sector-agnostic coverage experience across multiple industries

• CA/CFA/MBA (Finance) preferred

• Strong financial modelling, valuation, accounting, and communication skills

• Proven track record of successful stock recommendations and independent thinking

Technical Skills:

• Advanced Excel & Financial Modelling

• Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv

• Screener, Capitaline, and other research platforms

• Understanding of SEBI regulations related to research and wealth advisory
