D. Why Flipspaces?
We are looking for a GM/AVP – Business Excellence with an entrepreneurial mindset to lead revenue and operational transformation. This leadership role sits at the heart of Flipspaces’ next phase of growth, directly influencing our most strategic commercial opportunities while simultaneously building one of the most efficient delivery and process systems in the Design and Build sector.
You will work directly with the Founders to:
- Drive revenue excellence elevating win rates on large opportunities, unlocking complex enterprise relationships and bringing executive gravitas into boardroom conversations.
- Drive operational excellence building robust SOPs, execution discipline, customer delight, and organizational efficiency across geographies and business units.
Your commercial intervention will be critical whenever:
- Multiple high-level stakeholders are involved in a deal.
- A critical high-value deal is under negotiation.
- Creativity is required to build a narrative to close a complex opportunity.
- Founders, CEOs, PE funds, developers, or global leadership teams are at the table.
On the operational side, you will create systems where there are dependencies, establish predictability where there is ambiguity, and build a delivery machine that consistently executes projects on time, within budget, and with exceptional customer experience.
D. Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Deal Leadership
- Personally lead and influence high-value opportunities across existing and targeted growth markets.
- Participate in final-stage commercial negotiations and key corporate presentations.
- Build trust with clients having repeat mandates by templatising commercial frameworks.
- Develop winning strategies against highly competitive market players.
Revenue Excellence
- Create frameworks that improve conversion ratios across the sales funnel.
- Drive forecasting rigor, pipeline hygiene, and revenue predictability.
- Build playbooks for large account acquisition and expansion.
- Improve deal qualification and pursuit strategies.
- Ensure significant improvement in deal win rates.
Strategic Relationships
Build a robust relationship network spanning:
- Corporate CXOs and Founders
- Real Estate Developers
- PE/VC Ecosystem
- Global Occupiers
Operational Excellence
- Lead Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) models to create scalable operational cells across regions.
- Build and institutionalize robust operating processes across the organization.
- Drive standardization across regions and business units.
- Eliminate operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Establish scalable SOPs, governance mechanisms, and control frameworks.
- Create visibility through dashboards, metrics, and operational reviews.
Scale & Transformation
- Design the operating model for the next phase of growth.
- Lead transformation initiatives across delivery, procurement, planning, execution, and customer success.
- Drive automation and technology adoption.
- Build operational capabilities that support multiplier effect in growth.
Delivery Performance
- Improve project predictability, quality, and execution velocity.
- Reduce delays, escalations, and operational leakages.
- Ensure alignment between sales commitments and execution capability.
- Drive accountability across regional operations teams.
Customer Experience
- Own operational inputs impacting NPS and CSAT.
- Create mechanisms that ensure every project is delivered with consistency and excellence.
- Build escalation-management frameworks for high-stakes projects and handle escalations as required.
- Partner closely with sales teams to ensure seamless customer journeys.
Stakeholder Management
- Represent leadership in key client meetings and negotiations.
- Support regional teams in solving mission-critical execution challenges.
- Lead cross-functional problem-solving during business-critical situations.
- Act as the “Chief Integrator” across Sales, Design, Procurement, Projects, Finance, and Customer Success.
E. Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- 10–15 years of experience spanning enterprise sales, strategic account management, project management, or operations ideally with exposure to both revenue and delivery functions.
- Proven success in closing multi-crore projects with direct P&L ownership in highly competitive, relationship-driven industries.
- Strong leadership and team management skills across cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of supply chain, vendor management, and quality control.
- Excellent communication, client handling, and conflict resolution skills.
- Tier-1 institute alumni (IIT/IIM/ISB) preferred.
- Working knowledge of finance and P&L is a strong advantage along with experience in using the latest AI tools.
