Join us and experience a flexible, supportive environment where your well-being is prioritized and your potential can thrive.\n\nThe Role\nRole Summary We are looking for a Mainframe Devops Engineer with strong hands-on Zos environment and modern CI/CD experience and a strong DevOps/automation mindset to modernize and streamline mainframe delivery practices.\nThe candidate will work on build/deploy automation, CI/CD pipeline engineering, and release orchestration and help the customer migrate Changeman SCM to a Azure DevOps solution.\nThe role requires strong leadership and troubleshooting skills and the ability to build DevOps solutions for complex business environments.\nKey Responsibilities Manage and support mainframe source control and promotion workflows from Changeman/ZMF to Azure DevOps.\nDesign, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including pipeline templates, approvals, security controls, and environment promotions.\nWrite and maintain deployment and automation scripts using Groovy, YAML, and JSON.\nBuild, integrate, and troubleshoot automated build and deployment processes using: IBM UrbanCode Deploy (UCD) for deployment orchestration\nIBM Dependency Based Build (DBB) for mainframe build automation\n\nIntegrate and manage repositories and artifact flows using: GitHub for version control and branching strategy\nJFrog Artifactory for artifact storage and lifecycle management\n\nImplement monitoring and operational visibility using dashboards , enabling proactive alerting and pipeline/build visibility.\nIdentify opportunities for automation (manual to automated), reduce deployment risk, and improve cycle time through DevOps best practices.\nWork closely with developers, release managers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to orchestrate DevOps solutions for complex releases.\nProvide production/support readiness by improving build/deploy reliability, rollback strategies, and audit compliance.\nAct as a single point of contact between Kyndryl and customer.\n\nWho You Are\nYou're good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. And finally, you're open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.\n\nRequired Technical and Professional Experience\nMainframe Development\n10+ years of relevant experience in Mainframe Development and Devops.\nStrong hands-on development experience in Mainframe Systems using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS/DB2 .\nStrong hands-on experience with Changeman/ZMF including end-to-end migration and troubleshooting.\nDevOps & Automation\nHands-on experience building and troubleshooting Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.\nStrong scripting/configuration skills using Groovy, YAML, and JSON.\nExperience writing deployment scripts and automation for build/deploy orchestration.\nStrong knowledge of GitHub repositories, branching strategy, and pull request workflows.\nStrong experience with JFrog Artifactory (artifact promotion, versioning, integration with pipelines).\nIBM Tooling (Good to Have / Preferred)\nWorking knowledge of IBM UrbanCode Deploy (UCD).\nWorking knowledge of IBM Dependency Based Build (DBB).\nMonitoring / Observability\nExperience with Grafana or equivalent monitoring tools for DevOps/build/deploy dashboards and alerting.\nKey Competencies Strong troubleshooting & root-cause analysis in CI/CD and release pipelines.\nStrong ownership mindset and ability to drive automation end-to-end.\nAbility to architect and orchestrate DevOps solutions for complex enterprise release workflows.\nGood communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams.\n\nBeing You\nThe "Kyn" in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
