You'll be the architect of the system, shaping the base definition, structure, and documentation to ensure the long-term success of our business operations.\n\nYour expertise will be crucial in Manage database systems, including backup, recovery, and performance tuning. Ensure data security, integrity, and availability.

Optimize queries and indexing for performance. Support development and testing environments. Configuring, installing and maintaining database management systems.

You'll also be responsible for managing user access, implementing the highest standards of security to protect our valuable data from unauthorized access.\n\nIn addition, you'll be a disaster recovery guru, developing strong backup and recovery plans to ensure that our system is always protected in the event of a failure. Your technical acumen will be put to use, as you support end users and application developers in solving complex problems related to our database systems.\n\nAs a key player on the team, you'll implement policies and procedures to safeguard our data from external threats. You will also conduct capacity planning and growth projections based on usage, ensuring that our system is always scalable to meet our business needs.\n\nYou'll be a strategic partner, working closely with various teams to coordinate systematic database project plans that align with our organizational goals.

And finally, you're open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.\n\nRequired Technical and Professional Expertise\n6+ years' experience in managing PostgreSQL\n\nPublic/private cloud management, especially migration from on-prem to cloud\n\nBachelor's in CS/IT\n\nExperience in DB tuning, backups, high availability, and replication\n\nAble to write Query\n\nMicrosoft Windows Server 2016 implementation and management\n\nVMware ESXi experience\n\nPreferred Technical and Professional Expertise\nHave managed databases in government application\n\nKnowledge of data archival policy under government norms preferred\n\nAutomation experience, especially IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service)\n\nVulnerability management\n\nOn prem AD FS (Active Directory Federation Services) with Microsoft Active Directory (AD) ,and/or Azure AD\n\nBeing You\nThe "Kyn" in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
