As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions.

Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, your code will deliver value to our customers faster than ever before, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in ensuring the success of our products.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n• Own and resolve complex production incidents, performing deep Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing preventive actions\n• Provide L2/L3 support for mission-critical banking platforms (Core Banking, Treasury, Payments)\n• Lead incident triage and resolution for high-severity events, including on-call responsibilities\n• Drive automation of operational tasks to reduce manual effort and recurring incidents\n• Coordinate releases, deployments, and environment readiness using CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Git, XL Release )\n• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to improve system resilience and reliability\n• Produce RCA reports, knowledge articles, and operational runbooks aligned with audit and compliance requirements\n• Mentor junior engineers and act as a technical escalation point for L1/L2 teams\n• Monitor application and infrastructure health using Dynatrace ,Prometheus etc.\n• Ability to Work across Infrastructure + Applications + Devops teams\n• Support Production Operations ,deployment and automation\n\nUsing design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.As a valued member of our team, you will provide work estimates for assigned development work, and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties.\n\nYour contributions will have a significant impact on our products' success, and you will be part of a team that is passionate about innovation, creativity, and excellence.

And finally, you're open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.Required Technical and Professional Experience\n\nRequired Technical and Professional Experience\n5 to 7 years of experience as Operatios Engineer with strong hands on IT Operations\n\nFamiliarity with Banking operations like accounts, payments, cards, digital channels etc.,\n\nUnderstanding of customer journeys and process flows across banking services\n\nFamiliarity with software development lifecycle and testing practices\n\nBasic knowledge of application support, incident/problem management, and process improvement\n\nExposure to data analysis and documentation practices\n\nStrong analytical, impact analysis and problem-solving abilities\n\nCollaborative team player with effective communication skills\n\nDetail-oriented with focus on quality execution\n\nStrong sense of ownership and accountability\n\nExpertise in scripting and automation (Python, Shell, PowerShell)\n\nStrong knowledge in Azure /AWS Cloud Platforms\n\nHands-on with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, XL Deploy & Release)\n\nExperience with middleware and integration patterns (MQ, APIs, batch systems)\n\nKnowledge of observability tools (Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace, ELK Stack )\n\nExposure to container platforms (OpenShift / Kubernetes)\n\nStrong grounding in ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change)\n\nSrong skills on IAC Tools (Ansible/Terraform)\n\nStrong Linux/Unix and Windows administration\n\nExposure to Batch Job Monitoring ( Tivoli work scheduler / Batch scheduling Tools)\n\nPerform incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and issue resolution Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams\n\nEnsure system reliability, availability, and performance\n\nMaintain documentation, dashboards, and monitoring alerts\n\nPreferred Technical and Professional Experience\nBanking / BFSi preferred\n\nBachelor's/Master's in Computer Science / IT / Engineering\n\nBeing You\nThe "Kyn" in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
