  1. Role Overview (Position Summary)

Manager - Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) & Project Management is responsible for driving sales force effectiveness, performance analytics, SFA/CRM optimization, and execution of strategic commercial projects. The role combines strong analytical capabilities with project management expertise to support business growth, operational excellence.


  1. Overall Job Responsibilities

Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE)

  • Design, implement, and monitor sales force effectiveness frameworks to improve field force productivity and business performance.
  • Develop and maintain sales dashboards, KPIs and performance tracking mechanisms.
  • Analyze trends, market dynamics, prescription data, and customer coverage effectiveness.
  • Manage CRM systems and ensure effective utilization by field teams.
  • Monitor call planning, customer segmentation, targeting, and coverage models.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and HR teams for performance management initiatives.
  • Conduct ad hoc business analyses to identify growth opportunities and operational improvements.

Project Management

  • Lead and manage cross-functional strategic projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project charters, timelines, milestones, risk assessments, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and proactively address risks and issues.
  • Support digital transformation, automation, CRM enhancement, and commercial excellence projects.
  • Drive change management and stakeholder engagement during project implementation.
  • Establish project management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.



Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


Education

MBA (Master of Business Administration) or equivalent degree.

Functional Skills

  • CRM Management (Veeva CRM, Salesforce, etc.)

Desired Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Sales Force Effectiveness, Commercial Excellence, Business Analytics, or Sales Operations.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales productivity and business transformation initiatives.
