Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities)

Role:

As a Calypso Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps Client and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture, process artifacts, and implement the deployment plan. You will perform Calypso configurations for front, middle and back office requirements, and develop customizations as needed. You will perform testing activities, right from unit testing to systems/system-integration testing and assist/perform user acceptance testing as needed by the project. You may be involved in data migration activities as needed. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Design, development, additional configuration, customization , extension , Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes
• Interface development, integration
• Unit and system testing, performance testing and tuning
• Deployment, build and release management
• Production support, issue resolution (incidents/problems resolution)

Mandatory skills

• 4- 5 years of overall Technical experience in Java, J2EE, Oracle/Sybase, and Unix Shell Scripting. At least 2-3 years of solid hands-on experience on the Calypso platform (version 16 and upwards desired) with prior experience in design and development, customization, extension, system integration, version upgrade and on-going maintenance and production support projects.
• Understanding of technical architecture surrounding the package including integration with different systems & their impact on the solution.

Desired/ Secondary skills

• Agile and DevOps experience, including hands-on experience on CI/CD tools.
• Understanding & experience of tailoring of methodologies to suit customer/project needs.
• Experience in environment management, build and deployment management.
