Compensation : US$100,000 per year + performance bonuses
About the Role:
Rocket Capital is seeking a Private Equity Principal to help lead investments for Conifer Capital , our private equity platform focused on growth equity and buyouts across Southeast Asia.
This role will focus on healthcare investments , including healthcare services, hospitals, diagnostics, and related sectors.
The Principal will play a key role across the entire investment lifecycle — from sourcing and evaluating opportunities to executing transactions and supporting portfolio companies.
You will work closely with Rocket Capital’s leadership while helping expand our investment footprint across Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead sourcing and evaluation of private equity opportunities, with a focus on healthcare
• Build relationships with founders, advisors, and intermediaries to develop proprietary deal flow
• Lead financial analysis, valuation, and investment structuring
• Coordinate and manage due diligence across multiple work streams
• Prepare investment memoranda and present opportunities to the Investment Committee
• Support portfolio companies on strategic growth and value creation initiatives
Ideal Candidate :
• 5–10 years of experience in private equity , with experience at a PE fund preferred
• Strong healthcare sector coverage (e.g., hospitals, diagnostics, healthcare services)
• Experience leading or supporting private equity transactions
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis skills
• Ability to operate independently within a lean investment team
Preferred:
• Experience investing in India or Southeast Asia
• Exposure to cross-border transactions
