Job Description
You'll shape the player experience from first open to deep engagement, working hand-in-hand with game designers and developers. We care about craft, but we care more about speed and clarity. You should be comfortable designing in the morning and seeing it in-game by evening.\n\nQualifications\n1+ years of experience designing UI/UX for mobile games — shipped titles strongly preferred\nStrong visual design and illustration skills — you can create icons, badges, in-game assets, and promotional visuals, not just wireframes\nProficiency in Figma (or equivalent) for UI flows, plus Photoshop/Illustrator for asset creation and icon work\nA feel for game-UI aesthetics — personality, depth, and polish, not just clean SaaS screens\nAbility to design intuitive flows for complex systems — lobbies, shops, progression screens, battle passes, social features\nComfort handing off production-ready assets, sprites, and specs to developers\nGood instincts on information hierarchy, touch targets, and mobile ergonomics\nUnderstanding of F2P UI patterns — what makes players tap \"Buy,\" complete onboarding, or come back tomorrow\nAbility to move fast without sacrificing quality — you know when to polish and when to ship\nStrong communication skills; able to work async with a small cross-functional team\n\nNice to Have\nExperience designing for competitive/PvP games (ranked lobbies, matchmaking screens, post-match flows)\nFamiliarity with Unity UI workflows or Roblox UI development\nMotion design chops — transitions, micro-interactions, feedback animations\nExposure to player data and the ability to translate retention/conversion metrics into design decisions\nPrior experience at an indie or mobile-first studio
