Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Audit Senior to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end audit process for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services and an exceptional client experience.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead audit assignments from planning through to completion, maintaining high-quality standards.\nEnsure audit files contain all necessary documentation, properly organised in the appropriate sections.\nAnalyse accounting data from client records, providing insights and recommendations.\nOversee and ensure compliance with regulatory, internal audit methodology, and risk management requirements.\nBuild and nurture strong relationships with both new and established clients, acting as their trusted advisor.\nIdentify and understand client needs, offering tailored solutions and executing them effectively.\nAddress client queries promptly and professionally, promoting loyalty and trust.\nMentor and support junior team members, answering questions and ensuring high-quality work.\nCollaborate with team members to deliver accurate and timely client files and audits.\nDeliver client work in adherence to legal and statutory requirements.\nPrepare and review client documents, including accounts, tax filings, PAYE, and VAT submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.\nDrive efficiency and quality by utilising best practices and leveraging available tools and technology.\n\nRequirements:\n\nQualified practice accountant (ACA or ACCA)\nBroad and demonstrable audit experience within an accountancy practice environment.\nProven experience managing a portfolio of audit clients, ranging from small to large entities.\nStrong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards, including FRS 102 and IFRS.\nStrong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
