Social Media Manager | Location: Hyderabad | Mon-Fri
You own how our clients show up on social, every day, from the calendar to the comments to the numbers. You're the person who turns strategy and creative into a living, publishing, engaging presence across multiple brands, and who comes back with what's working and what isn't.
About Us & the role
CitrusCopy is a growth and strategy-led studio working with D2C and category-leading brands across skincare, beauty, fashion, F&B, wellness, and more. Social is where a lot of that growth gets won or lost. As Social Media Manager, you sit at the centre of delivery, taking the strategy and brand voice the team sets, the copy and creative they produce, and making sure it ships on time, on-brand, and on-platform, then feeding performance back into the next cycle. You'll run multiple client accounts at once, so organisation and ownership matter as much as creativity.
What you'll own
Calendar & publishing
- Build and maintain monthly editorial calendars per client, aligned to the strategy and content pillars set by the team
- Schedule and publish across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and others as needed
- Manage posting cadence, story sequencing, and platform-native formatting
- Keep every account's calendar approved, on-time, and visible in our project tracker
Community & engagement
- Own day-to-day community management (comments, DMs, mentions) in each brand's voice
- Spot and escalate the conversations that matter (leads, complaints, PR risk)
- Build genuine engagement, not vanity activity
Analytics & reporting
- Pull platform metrics and compile clear monthly client reports
- Benchmark performance against targets and write up the \"so what,\" not just the numbers
- Surface insights that shape next month's plan
Collaboration & input
- Work hand-in-hand with the brand/copy and design leads to brief, sequence, and ship content
- Run and contribute to social and competitor audits during client onboarding and strategy
- Be the platform expert in the room: trends, formats, algorithm shifts, what's actually performing right now
You'll thrive here if you have
- 2 to 4 years managing social for brands or agency clients (D2C exposure is a strong plus)
- A real grip on Instagram and LinkedIn, and fluency with scheduling/analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Later/Buffer/Hootsuite, etc.)
- The ability to juggle multiple brands and voices without dropping a ball
- Sharp written instincts: you can spot off-voice copy and fix small things yourself
- Comfort with numbers and a habit of asking \"why did this work?\"
- Ownership as a default setting: you chase, you close, you don't wait to be reminded
