SAP ABAP Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with experience in SAP ABAP development and S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications while working closely with functional teams to deliver high-quality business solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
• Develop and enhance applications using ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, OData Services, and SAP Fiori/UI5.
• Build and maintain integrations with SAP and third-party systems using APIs, IDocs, and EDI.
• Develop custom enhancements using BAdIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of SAP applications.
• Implement code pushdown techniques and leverage HANA capabilities to improve system performance.
• Ensure compliance with SAP development standards, quality guidelines, and transport management processes.
• Support implementation, rollout, enhancement, migration, and application support projects.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP Programming and ABAP on HANA concepts.
• Experience in developing CDS Views, OData Services, and SAP Gateway applications.
• Good understanding of Enhancement Framework, BAdIs, User Exits, and custom developments.
• Experience working with interfaces and integrations using IDocs, APIs, EDI, and external systems.
• Experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
• Exposure to business processes in modules such as SD, MM, FI, EWM, or WM.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or conversion projects.

Preferred Skills

• Good to have experience on BTP, RAP, Fiori, Ui5 either support or implementation projects
• SAP Certification in ABAP, Fiori, or related technologies.
• Experience in Automotive, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain industries.
