We're looking for an SEO Executive who can help us increase our visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven search experiences.


About the Role

We are looking for an SEO Executive who can drive organic growth through a combination of SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).

You will be responsible for improving search visibility, increasing qualified organic traffic, and helping Steps AI become discoverable across Google, AI search platforms, and answer engines.

This role is ideal for someone who understands search intent, enjoys working with data, and is excited about the future of AI-powered search.


What You'll Do

  • Conduct keyword research focused on high-intent B2B and SaaS search terms
  • Identify content opportunities based on customer pain points and search intent
  • Optimize website pages, blogs, landing pages, and product content for organic growth
  • Create and execute on-page SEO strategies
  • Improve internal linking and website structure
  • Perform technical SEO audits and coordinate fixes with developers
  • Monitor keyword rankings, traffic, and website performance
  • Implement schema markup and structured data where applicable
  • Optimize content for featured snippets, FAQs, and answer-based search results
  • Support content creation with SEO recommendations and content briefs
  • Identify backlink opportunities and support link-building initiatives
  • Track competitor SEO strategies and emerging search trends
  • Monitor how AI search platforms and generative engines surface and reference content


What We're Looking For


Must-Have Skills

  • 1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience
  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
  • Experience with keyword research and search intent mapping
  • Familiarity with tools such as: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog (preferred)
  • Ability to analyze SEO performance data and derive actionable insights
  • Good understanding of content optimization and website architecture


Good to Have

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, technology, or software companies
  • Understanding of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
  • Experience with schema markup and structured data
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms
  • Basic understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO)
  • Experience with backlink outreach and digital PR initiatives
