Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Assistant Manager at Surya Roshni. The Assistant Manager will support daily operations, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and assist in planning, executing, and monitoring projects related to manufacturing, lighting solutions, or business support functions. Responsibilities include tracking performance metrics, preparing reports and presentations, supporting process improvements, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards. The role will involve regular communication with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers, contributing to efficient workflow, timely deliveries, and effective issue resolution. The Assistant Manager will also assist in budgeting, resource planning, and documentation to support management decision-making and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and using tools such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, or similar business software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear interaction with internal teams, external partners, and management.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or project coordination, preferably in an industrial or lighting/engineering environment.
  • Familiarity with quality and safety standards; exposure to ISO or similar systems is an advantage.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; relevant postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
