AI creative director

Role Description The AI Creative Director is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the creative vision at Buckshot. This role oversees concept development from brief to final delivery, guiding multidisciplinary teams across creative, design, and technical functions. Day-to-day, the AI Creative Director will translate business objectives into clear creative strategies, develop concept boards and visual directions, and review work to ensure consistency with brand guidelines and project goals. The role will collaborate with AI and product teams to explore new applications of generative tools, establish creative standards for AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong Creative Direction and Creative Strategy skills, with a track record of leading concepts from idea to execution.
• Experience in Branding, including brand architecture, visual identity systems, and consistent storytelling across channels.
• Proficiency in Art Direction and Graphic Design, with the ability to guide layout, typography, imagery, and overall visual quality.
• Familiarity with AI-driven creative tools (e.g., generative image, video, and text platforms) and their integration into design workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing.
• Strong presentation, communication, and feedback skills, with the ability to articulate creative rationales to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience managing or mentoring creative teams in a remote or distributed environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Advertising, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Portfolio showcasing strategic thinking, high-quality visual work, and examples of innovative or technology-enabled creative projects.
