Job Title: Video Editor (with Videography Skills)

Role Overview
To create high-quality, visually compelling video content aligned with brand storytelling
and marketing objectives. The role combines editing excellence with on-ground
videography capability, ensuring end-to-end ownership from shoot planning to final
output.
1. Video Editing & Post-Production
%CF; Edit high-quality videos for:
%CB; Social media (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn videos)
%CB; Brand films and project showcases
%CB; Property walkthroughs and testimonials
%CB; Corporate and PR videos
%CF; Ensure strong storytelling through pacing, transitions, sound design, and visual flow.
%CF; Perform color correction, grading, audio balancing, and final rendering.
%CF; Adapt edits for multiple platforms and formats (vertical, horizontal, short-form, long-form).
2. Videography & Shoot Execution
%CF; Plan and execute video shoots including:
%CB; Property shoots (interiors, exteriors, amenities)
%CB; Interview setups (clients, leadership, employees)
%CB; Event coverage and brand activations
%CF; Handle camera equipment, lighting, and basic sound setup.
%CF; Ensure proper framing, composition, and shot quality aligned with brand standards.
3. Creative Collaboration
%CF; Work closely with content strategists, designers, and marketing teams to understand
briefs.
%CF; Translate scripts and concepts into visual narratives.
%CF; Contribute creative inputs on shot design, storytelling formats, and video trends.
4. Content Optimization & Platform Adaptation
%CF; Optimize videos for engagement across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).
%CF; Incorporate platform trends, hooks, and retention techniques.
%CF; Ensure timely delivery aligned with campaign timelines.
Required Competencies
%CF; Strong sense of visual storytelling and editing rhythm
%CF; Understanding of camera framing, lighting, and composition
%CF; Ability to translate ideas into engaging video formats
%CF; Attention to detail in post-production quality
%CF; Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects
Required Tools & Technical Proficiency
%CF; Video Editing Software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro (or equivalent)
%CF; Motion Graphics (Preferred): Adobe After Effects
%CF; Design Tools (Basic): Photoshop, Canva
%CF; Equipment Handling: DSLR / Mirrorless Cameras, Gimbals, Lighting setups, Basic
audio gear
%CF; File Management & Collaboration: Google Drive, Dropbox or similar tools
Note: Advanced cinematography is a plus, but strong editing and storytelling ability are core
