IFS FSM solutions : Solution Architect

About The Job:

• Analyze, design, develop, document, test, deploy and support and business process improvements and new business processes.
• Train and support personnel in the effective use of business process and systems.
• Implement business process changes and enhancements through process re-engineering and system configuration.

Essential Job Functions:

• Gather business and user analytical needs in consultation with both business managers and end users.
• Conduct root cause analysis with business users to identify business process improvement opportunities.
• Research these opportunities to define the objectives, scope, resource estimates and functional/technical specifications.
• Work closely with business users to resolve ongoing functional issues.
• Test systems and evaluate results to ensure adequacy in meeting requirements.
• Facilitate and document discovery sessions to uncover business processes and functional requirements.
• Support and build demonstrations aligned with Gemline’s key business initiatives.
• Translate technical and business requirements into a customer focused value-centric solution.
• Work within teams with the ability to take a leadership role where necessary.
• Staying apprised of current IFS capabilities.
• Coordinate and manage vendor partners.

Qualifications:
Requirements/Qualifications:

• Strong familiarity and hands-on with IFS FMS Solutions for highly configurable manufacturing.
• A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and understanding of strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
• A critical thinker capable of solving problems through business process improvements and leveraging integrated software systems
• Ability to clarify ambiguity to define requirements.
• The ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions.
• Extensive experience planning and deploying both process improvement initiatives.
• Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization.
• The ability to act as liaison conveying information needs of the business to IT and data/technology constraints to the business.
• Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus.
• Strong situational analysis and decision making abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technology or business related field.
• Experience in leading cross functional project teams.

Must Have

• Minimum 5 years as hands-on experience as an IFS FSM functional analyst with at least 2 years’ experience as an IFS ERP V.9 or 10 Solution Architect
• Minimum 2 implementation experiences as a solution architect or functional analyst in sales and manufacturing
• Ability to design the core business flow and arrive at Functional/Technical Solution landscape for complex and large volume projects.
• In depth understanding of order to cash and procure to pay business processes.
• Familiarity with waterfall and Agile methodologies

Nice to Have

• Understanding on Oracle and the other IFS application & architecture.
