Devops Engineer - Pune
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience to join our technology team. You will play a critical role in automating, optimizing, and securing our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and deployments across environments. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of cloud services, container orchestration, infrastructure as code, and continuous integration/deployment best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines.
Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Automate provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and IT to improve development workflows and deployment strategies.
Ensure system security through access controls, vulnerability testing, and audits.
Monitor application and system health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack.
Maintain and optimize Git repositories and branching strategies.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
Document processes and systems to improve operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
Solid experience with containerization tools: Docker and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with IAC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
Strong knowledge of at least one cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
Familiarity with source control (Git), branching, and versioning best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
