Location: Bellandur, Bangalore
Experience: 8-10 Years
Shift: 08:00 AM – 5 PM

Contract duration: 12 Months contract role with possible extension

Core Responsibilities
Reporting Structure
  • Individual contributor position reporting to the Engineering Services Manager.
  • Responsible for providing technical and data analytical support to the Project & Engineering Department in Chevron ENGINE.
  • Interfaces with other ENGINE departments and Assets/Functions outside of ENGINE.
Job Summary
Responsible for supporting data collection, analysis, reporting, workflow creation, and business planning activities for the Project & Engineering Department. Provides quality assurance checks for documents, processes, and metrics, manages information systems including databases and SharePoint sites, and develops business management tools to enhance departmental performance tracking. The role includes data analysis, reporting, budget tracking, forecasting, knowledge sharing, and portfolio management support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Consolidate and report department technical and data analytical support.
  • Support business planning and financial tracking activities.
  • Coordinate and manage project data quality improvement efforts.
  • Perform data analysis and reporting for the Project & Engineering work program.
  • Support Project & Engineering program management systems and financial tracking/reporting.
  • Promote cost management through project budget tracking reviews, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate development of project reports for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and testing of portfolio management tools and reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure completion of portfolio management and resource management activities.
  • Coach, mentor, and train team members on financial and portfolio management tools.
  • Manage information and documentation by maintaining SharePoint sites and databases.
  • Coordinate the hire program by interfacing with participants, updating systems of record, preparing consolidated data analysis, and implementing program improvements.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business discipline.
  • 8–10 years of technical analysis experience in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • Power BI (mandatory)
    • Advanced Excel
    • Macros
    • Pivot Tables
    • Microsoft Word
    • Microsoft PowerPoint
    • Copilot
    • Other analytical and portfolio management tools
  • Technical and/or engineering knowledge.
  • Exposure to Project Management principles.
  • Oil & Gas industry experience preferred but not mandatory.
