About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional for the role of Senior Executive – Costing. The candidate will be responsible for handling costing activities, MIS reporting, variance analysis, and profitability analysis to support effective financial decision-making within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate MIS reports and departmental financial reports within defined timelines.
- Perform variance analysis and provide detailed reporting on monthly financial performance.
- Calculate product costing as per the standard cost sheet format.
- Handle activity-based costing and overhead allocation analysis on a monthly basis.
- Analyze cost variances and identify key drivers impacting profitability and margins.
- Support the identification and implementation of cost reduction initiatives and process improvements.
- Prepare profitability analysis reports and monitor cost impact across products and departments.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for cost data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Candidate Requirements
- CMA Inter qualification is mandatory.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in costing and MIS reporting.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Manufacturing Industry preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of costing concepts, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates from Manufacturing Industry background will be preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments within timelines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
