Our Client is a leading MNC Manufacturing company in field of screening & auxilary solutions for Petrochemicals, Food, beverages & Chemicals companies. Company has more then 200 employees & having their plant at Sanad GIDC, Ahmedabad. They are looking for staff for below mentioned position.

Position: Quality Inspector / QA-QC Inspector

Exp: 4-5 years

CTC: 6-6.70 LPA

Location: Sanand

Timing: 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM ( 5 Days Week)

Qualification

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• NDT Level II Certification preferred.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Inspector / QA-QC Inspector with experience in fabrication, steel structures, or heavy engineering industries. The candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with quality standards, preparing quality documentation, and coordinating with clients and third-party inspectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections of fabricated components, including cutting, welding, machining, and painting activities.
• Witness and verify welding, NDT, visual inspections, and other tests as per approved ITP/QAP requirements.
• Prepare and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), inspection reports, NCRs, welding reports, and test records.
• Coordinate with Third-Party Inspectors (TPIs) and clients during inspections and audits.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.
• Monitor fabrication activities and identify quality issues for timely corrective actions.
• Maintain quality records and documentation as per project requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of fabrication processes, including welding, fitting, machining, and assembly.
• Familiarity with Stainless Steel (SS) materials and their inspection requirements.
• Knowledge of ASME Codes and quality standards related to fabrication and welding.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, WPS, and inspection documents.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Experience

• 4-5 years of experience in fabrication, steel structures, pressure vessel, or heavy engineering industries.

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to work in shifts as per production and project requirements.
• Experience in handling client and third-party inspections will be an added advantage.
