Job Title: ServiceNow Technical Lead

Location: Bengaluru, India

Role Overview

The ServiceNow Technical Lead will be responsible for leading a team in delivering both out-of-the-box/new custom-configured solutions and system integrations on the ServiceNow platform. This role combines hands-on technical delivery with strategic leadership, ensuring operational support and platform evolution align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of ServiceNow projects, including scoping, designing and documenting technical specifications, estimating, development, and implementation.
  • Troubleshoot complex platform issues and provide scalable solutions.
  • Define, maintain, and ensure compliance with architectural, coding, and configurations standards and best practices for ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and maintaining the platform.
  • Guide the design and delivery of technical integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow upgrades and new features to ensure platform optimization.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to ServiceNow developers.
  • Coordinate with solution architects, business analysts, project managers, scrum masters, and project sponsors to ensure alignment between technical delivery and business objectives.
  • Oversee platform stability, usability, and performance across production and non-production environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Expertise

  • 7-10 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules including ITOM, ITSM, CSM, IRM, TPSM, and Agile.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions using industry best practices.
  • Experience with scoped application builds, integrations, upgrades, and delivering to project schedule.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and process automation.

Leadership & Communication

  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Critical thinking and pragmatic decision-making to optimize platform architecture and delivery.

Preferred Certifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, HRSD, IRM
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD)
