Developer III

Overview

The Software Engineer III is a key individual contributor responsible for building, scaling, and supporting Pythonbased backend services within the Integrated Front Office. This role owns features endtoend and contributes to system design, with a strong focus on building reliable, scalable, and contextaware workflows that integrate across distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Python

• Own features from development through deployment and support

• Contribute to the design and implementation of contextaware workflows and system integrations

• Participate in technical design discussions to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability

• Write clean, welltested, and maintainable code following engineering best practices

• Collaborate closely with QA, Product, and other Engineering teams

• Contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python and backend service development

• Experience building APIs and scalable backend systems

• Solid understanding of distributed systems and serviceoriented architectures

• Experience with Docker and cloudbased environments

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices

• Understanding of context propagation, eventdriven systems, or MCPstyle workflows (preferred)

• Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work crossfunctionally
