Our client is implementing a Global Credit Solution (GCS) across its Trading & Supply organization worldwide. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will design, build, and lead enterprise-scale data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making for global credit, risk, and underwriting processes.
This role plays a critical part in modernizing legacy credit systems, reducing the GCAP footprint, and supporting Shell’s global data strategy.Key Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end data foundations and scalable data pipelines
• Translate Data Strategy and Vision into robust IT and data engineering solutions
• Lead data architecture, ELT processes, and data modeling
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in data analysis and data design
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Drive implementation efficiency, cost optimization, and faster time-to-value
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to Communities of Practice (CoE / CoP)
• Support change management, incident management, and problem management
• Present insights, reports, and technical designs to senior stakeholders
