Clipchamp\n\nRole overview\n\nWe are seeking a Frontend Tech Lead to own front-end architecture and lead the build of a brand-new, accessible design system on Angular 17+ with standalone components.\nThe candidate will set front-end standards, lead a pod of Angular engineers and stay hands-on - driving performance, accessibility and a scalable, metadata-driven UI for a multi-tenant SaaS product.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\n1.Front-end architecture\nOwn Angular 17+ architecture: standalone components, NgRx (signals) and Formly-based forms.\nEstablish and govern the shared, accessible design system and theming model.\nDefine API integration contracts with the backend leads behind Azure API Management.\n2.Quality, performance and accessibility\nSet WCAG accessibility standards with axe checks in Playwright E2E suites.\nDrive front-end performance budgets, lazy loading and bundle optimization.\n3.Team and delivery\nLead, mentor and unblock a front-end engineering pod.\nPartner with UX leadership on design tokens, patterns and component libraries.\nEmbed front-end pipelines into Azure DevOps CI/CD.\n\nRequired technical skills and qualifications:\n\nBachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.\n8+ years of front-end engineering with deep Angular and TypeScript expertise.\nProven design-system creation and ownership.\nStrong NgRx / signals state-management experience.\nDemonstrated accessibility (WCAG) and performance leadership.\nHands-on leadership: reviews, mentoring and standards-setting.\n\nMust have skills:\n\nExpert Angular + TypeScript with modern architecture patterns.\nProven design-system and accessibility leadership.\nStrong performance and CI/CD experience.\nDemonstrated leadership of a front-end team.\n\nGood to have skills:\n\nExperience with Angular standalone components and signals at scale.\nFormly or metadata-driven form expertise.\nMulti-tenant theming and feature-flag experience.\nPrior greenfield front-end leadership.\nHands-on experience using AI tools in the Software Development Lifecycle; Claude and GitHub Copilot preferred.\n\nDesired attributes:\n\nStrong ownership mindset and engineering discipline.\nHigh attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communicator who collaborates well across distributed, cross-functional teams.\nComfortable working in a greenfield environment with evolving standards and a test-first culture.\nPassion for continuous improvement, clean code and engineering excellence.\n\nInterview process\n2 rounds of discussion
