Job Title: Video Editor\nLocation: GITAM University (Visakhapatnam / Hyderabad / Bengaluru Campus)\nExperience: 3–4 years\n\nJob Summary:\nThe ideal candidate will have experience in editing academic and promotional content, with a strong understanding of short-form video trends and motion graphics. You will work closely with the marketing team to produce high-quality content for digital platforms.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nEdit video content from lectures, seminars, student fests, and campus events into engaging reels and YouTube Shorts .\nEdit marketing content , including promotional videos and digital campaigns.\nHandle editing of student and professor video bytes to ensure clarity, consistency, and storytelling impact.\nApply strong storytelling skills to create emotionally engaging and brand-aligned content.\nCollaborate with the content, design, and marketing teams to deliver the best creative output .\nAdd motion graphics, transitions, and animations to elevate content.\nPerform colour grading, audio balancing , and final rendering for various digital platforms.\nEnsure all content adheres to GITAM’s branding and quality standards.\nSupport video shoots, photography, and basic videography when needed.\nStay updated on content trends for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn .\n\nRequired Skills:\nProficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, and Lightroom .\nStrong knowledge of motion graphics and visual storytelling techniques.\nExperience in editing short-form content for social media platforms.\nExcellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.\nAttention to detail with a creative and proactive approach.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nKnowledge of social media video strategies and current trends.\nBasic shooting/editing experience with DSLRs or mirrorless cameras is a plus.\nPrior experience in an academic or creative marketing environment is advantageous
