About the Role:\n\nAt STAGE, we’re looking for a creatively driven and AI-savvy Video Editor who can craft cinematic trailers that build excitement and performance-focused promos that convert. This role sits at the intersection of storytelling, marketing, and innovation- ideal for someone who doesn’t just edit but rethinks content creation using the power of AI tools .\nWhile trailers demand deep narrative intuition and emotional storytelling, promos require a high-volume, high-speed mindset focused on hook thinking, first-frame optimization, and performance data. We’re seeking a candidate who brings creative flair, a data-led mindset, and a curiosity for integrating emerging tech like AI-driven motion design, voice tools, and automation into their craft.\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\n\nTrailers, Teasers & Show Edits\nEdit engaging trailers, teasers, and episodic highlights aligned with release cycle\nBuild emotionally compelling narratives using a combination of traditional and AI-assisted tools (e.g., auto scene selection, script-to-edit workflows\nCollaborate with content and post-production teams to identify standout moments and visual theme\nStay updated o n OTT, trailer, and AI content tren ds across regional and international platforms\n\nPromos for Performance Marketing\nEdit ad-promos for platforms like Meta and Google, optimized for key KPIs such a s Hook Ra te , View Through Ra te (VTR), an d C AC\nDesign performance-driven motion graphics, thumbnails, hooks, and headlines tha t maximize scroll-stopping potenti al\nCollaborate closely with Performance and Acquisition teams to test and iterate based on real-time data\nDevelop and test hook formats- text-led, visual, meme-style, character-led, contradiction, mystery, etc\nUse AI tools to auto-generate variations, test multiple hooks, and optimize content efficiency at scale\n\nCreative Design, AI & Brand Consistency\nDesign motion graphics, visual transitions, and animated elements using both Adobe Suite and AI-based tools (e.g., Runway, Pika, Kaiber, etc.\nAct as a creative thought partner who brings AI-powered efficiency, hook-first ideation, and performance storytelling to every brief\nSupport 360° marketing campaigns with static and video assets for digital and offline distribution (e.g., posters, thumbnails, social creatives)\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration & Innovation\nWork cross-functionally with teams across Marketing, Content, and Product\nBrin g a strong point of view on how AI can improve workflows, save time, and open up new creative possibilities.\n\nRequirements\n3+ years of experience in video editing, preferably in the entertainment Industry\nFamiliarity with concepts l ike hook points, cold opens, retention trig gers, and performance-optimized visuals.\nProficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustr ator, with added experience in tools l ike DaVinci Resolve, Runway ML, Pika Labs, or similar AI creative tools.\nStrong understanding of video storytelling, editing rhythms, sound design, transitions, typography, and motion graphics.\nDemonstrated use of AI in areas like video upscaling, text-to-video generation, smart editing, or automated versio ning.\nAbility to interpret creative feedback from multiple stakeholders and translate data insights into sharper edit s.\ngrowth and experimentation min dset- excited by the future of AI in editing and designing.\nAwareness of performance met rics in digital advertising and enthusiasm for optimizing content for imp\n\nact.
