About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and industry-connected Placement Manager to drive student placement initiatives and corporate partnerships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aviation or hospitality recruitment, strong industry relationships, and a passion for preparing students for successful careers in customer-facing industries.
Key Responsibilities
Placement & Corporate Relations
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with airlines, hotels, travel companies, retail organizations, and customer service employers.
- Generate placement opportunities and ensure consistent hiring support for students.
- Organize campus recruitment drives, walk-ins, interviews, job fairs, and placement events.
- Coordinate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and facilitate talent acquisition.
Student Placement & Career Readiness
- Conduct placement planning and execution to achieve monthly and annual placement targets.
- Guide students on career opportunities across aviation, hospitality, travel, retail, and service sectors.
- Conduct mock interviews, group discussions, resume reviews, and career counseling sessions.
- Prepare students for employer interactions through professional grooming and employability enhancement programs.
Aviation & Hospitality Screening
- Conduct grooming assessments, personality evaluations, and professional readiness checks.
- Perform height, weight, and appearance assessments for aviation-related roles such as Cabin Crew and Ground Staff.
- Ensure students meet industry standards and employer-specific requirements.
Industry Engagement & Vendor Management
- Build long-term partnerships with industry stakeholders and recruitment agencies.
- Coordinate employer visits, guest lectures, networking sessions, and recruitment campaigns.
- Maintain regular communication with hiring partners and identify new business opportunities for placements.
Compliance & Process Management
- Gain comprehensive understanding of organizational policies, placement processes, and student development frameworks.
- Ensure adherence to placement protocols, company standards, grooming guidelines, and professional ethics.
- Track placement data, prepare MIS reports, and present placement performance metrics to management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related discipline.
- MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in Placement, Corporate Relations, Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or Career Services.
- Prior experience in Aviation, Hospitality, Travel, Airlines, Hotels, Retail, or Customer Service industries is mandatory.
- Strong network of HR professionals, recruiters, and hiring managers across relevant industries.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to achieve placement targets and manage multiple recruitment initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong presentation, counseling, and student mentoring capabilities.
