Research Analyst

Our Research & Intelligence division is the backbone of our data ecosystem — maintaining, enriching, and validating enterprise-grade data on millions of companies and individuals to power critical business decisions.\nROLE OVERVIEW As a Research Analyst at AuthBridge, you will be the primary custodian of source data for a portfolio of at least 1,000 companies. You will be responsible for sourcing, updating, and maintaining accurate corporate intelligence from diverse public and proprietary sources — ensuring the integrity and completeness of the data that our clients and internal teams rely on every day.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nData Ownership & Portfolio Management\nOwn and manage a portfolio of a minimum of 1,000 companies as assigned, ensuring all data records are current, complete, and verified.\nConduct regular audits of assigned company records to identify gaps, outdated entries, and inaccuracies.\nMaintain a structured tracking system to monitor update cycles, last-verified dates, and pending tasks for each company.\nSource Data Research & Updates\nResearch and collect data from primary and secondary sources including MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs), ROC filings, stock exchange disclosures (BSE/NSE), official company websites, news databases, and regulatory portals.\nUpdate company profiles with critical data points: registered address, directors/promoters, financial details, compliance status, legal charges, business activity, and corporate structure.\nIdentify and onboard new reliable data sources to improve coverage and reduce turnaround time.\nData Quality & Process Compliance\nEnsure all updates comply with AuthBridge's internal data quality standards, validation protocols, and SLA timelines.\nFlag and escalate discrepancies, contradictory information, or suspicious records to the team lead.\nParticipate in weekly data quality reviews and implement corrective actions as directed.\nReporting & Collaboration\nPrepare daily/weekly status reports on data update progress for assigned portfolio.\nCollaborate with the product, operations, and client servicing teams to resolve data queries in a timely manner.\nContribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline research workflows and reduce manual effort.\nELIGIBILITY CRITERIA\nEducation: Graduate (any discipline) or MBA from a Tier 2 college/university. Candidates with a background in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields preferred.\nExperience: Freshers are encouraged to apply.

Prior experience of up to 2 years in data research, KYC/KYB, business intelligence, or a similar domain is an added advantage.\nComputer Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, filters, pivot tables), Google Sheets, and web-based research tools. Familiarity with the MCA21 portal is a plus.\nLanguage: Proficient in written and spoken English.
