Group SeMS & ERP Manager - Aviation Services
Our client is a leading global aviation services provider, operating across multiple geographies with a commitment to safety, security, and operational excellence. Their dynamic, multi-site operations support some of the world's busiest airports and most respected airline brands.
They are seeking a Group SeMS & ERP Manager, who plays a pivotal role in shaping the Group's security and emergency response frameworks. This high-impact position ensures alignment with ICAO standards, national regulatory requirements, and international best practices. The candidate will lead the strategic development and governance of the Security Management System (SeMS) and Emergency Response Programme (ERP), providing expert guidance and assurance across all business lines and operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
SeMS Governance & Risk Management
- Own and enhance the Group SeMS in compliance with ICAO Annex 17, Annex 19, and Doc 10121
- Define and oversee security risk identification, vulnerability assessment, and mitigation strategies
- Ensure SeMS integration with ERP, SMS, Quality, and operational risk systems
- Provide expert advice to senior leaders on threat environments and risk exposure
Emergency Response Programme Oversight
- Lead the design and implementation of the Group Emergency Response Programme
- Ensure station-level ERP plans meet Group standards and local regulations
- Oversee emergency preparedness, response, recovery, and post-event analysis
- Support incident response at Group level during major security or emergency events
Performance Monitoring & Assurance
- Define and monitor security KPIs and performance targets
- Conduct trend analysis of incidents and emerging threats
- Oversee assurance activities including audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
- Lead investigations and embed lessons learned into continuous improvement efforts
Stakeholder Engagement & Regulatory Interface
- Act as Group focal point for SeMS and ERP with regulators, airports, and airline clients
- Support regulatory audits and maintain awareness of legislative changes
- Foster collaboration with internal stakeholders including Safety, Quality, Ops, and Training teams
- Represent SeMS and ERP in risk boards, governance forums, and crisis structures
Culture, Training & Leadership
- Drive a proactive security culture through training, engagement, and leadership coaching
- Develop and deliver SeMS and ERP training content with internal learning teams
- Promote just culture principles and effective incident reporting processes
- Strengthen security leadership and risk-based decision-making across the organisation
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 8 years' experience in aviation security or risk management, with regional or group-level scope
- Recognised qualification in aviation security, risk management, or related discipline
- Strong working knowledge of ICAO Annex 17, Annex 19, and ICAO Doc 10121
- Proven track record in emergency response planning, incident management, and security audits
- Experience working with regulators, airport authorities, and airline clients on security frameworks
- Desirable: SeMS certification, crisis management experience, multi-site international exposure
