Assistant Manager - Securitisation (UK)
Roles & responsibilities
Work on engagements related to various types of Securitization like Commercial Mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and Residential Mortgage-backed securities (RMBS)
Perform due diligence (loan file reviews) by comparing loan documentation with client data for accuracy
Perform stratification calculations and legal document reviews
Prepare client deliverables (agreed-upon procedures report) and working papers supporting our findings
Educational qualifications
MBA / CA / Master's in Finance, Economics.
Work experience
3-6 years of experience in securitization, financial modeling, structured finance, document review, credit analysis, or capital markets
Mandatory technical & functional skills
Strong understanding of securitization market, understanding of regulatory standards relating to structured products
Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, business writing/verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task many activities
Strong knowledge of MS Excel
Strong capability in document review and analysis.
Preferred technical & functional skills
Strong command of MS Excel, covering pivot tables, lookup functions (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP), index match, complex formulas, dashboards, and financial modelling
Strong expertise in document analysis and review
Key behavioral attributes/requirements
Personal drive and positive attitude to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations
Good interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team
CA / MBA Qualified
Work experience
